- Upper Class
- Middle Class
- Working Class
- Underclass
- Top of the social and economic hierarchy
- High eduction and at the high end of there occupation
- There are between the upper and lower end of the social economy
- The family is strong and the parents have good jobs earning decent money
- The children are the ones to humour the adults because they are hard working
- Typically the man is seen as manly and the woman as womanly
- Families are seen as functional and and strong
- Seen as positive or negative
- Hard working who get little in return
- Low wages
- Basic eduction
- Stereotypes that come to mind are lazy and unproductive
- Males are seen as incompetent, good intentions meant but are dumb
- Also fails in the role of a man, husband and father
Underclass
- Chav
- Benefits
- Unemployed
- Violent
- Drug and alcohol effected
- Broken family
- The media have shown that the dominant class would be the middle class.
- Eccentric - Working
- Hard-working - Working
- Loyal and community - Middle
- Natural, honest and down to earth - Middle
- Comfortable - Middle
- Pretentious - Upper
- Austere and stiff upper lip - Upper
- Sophisticated & well bred - Upper
- Violent and criminal - Underclass
- Dirty and uncouth - Underclass
- Boring and sheltered - Underclass
- Hard-working - Working
- Loyal and community - Middle
- Natural, honest and down to earth - Middle

Descriptive Words
Upper - Highly educated, rich, posh, snob, wise
Middle - Good lifestyle, enough money to survive on, strong family
Working - Hard working, basic education, lazy, breaking family
Underclass - Chav, benefits, violent, broken family
